At our June 14 Convocation ceremony Wanda Cieslar-Pawluskiewicz of the Polish Home Ladies Auxiliary awarded prizes to Anatoliy Klots (in photo) and Bonnie Layne as this year’s best Polish language students. Kevin Spivey was honored as this year’s best Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian student and received a monetary prize made possible through the fundraising efforts of Ivana Orlovic. Veronica Muskheli was honored as this year’s best Slovene language student by Advisory Board member Polona Brooks; Mikhail Balasyuk, Deanne Greaves, Jeremy Coppock and Clara Summers were honored as the best first-, second-, third- and fourth-year Czech language students; and Margaret Babayan, Brian Jacoby-McCurdy, Michelle Lie, and Teyloure Ring were honored as the best first-, second-, third- and fourth-year Russian language students. Congratulations to all 12 students on their hard work!
