Danielle Noble, a Russian language minor, has been awarded a prestigious FLAS Fellowship for the 2013-2014 school year! She was also awarded a Vladimir Gross Undergraduate Scholarship from the UW Ellison Center, which helped fund a study abroad program in Russia this past summer. Danielle will use her time as a FLAS fellow to study Russian language and complete an honors thesis on Russian perceptions of climate change for her anthropology major. She is also the president of the UW Russian Film and Culture Club.
