Analysis of various aspects of what is generally referred to as the structure of the Russian language, notably phonology, morphology, and syntax of Russian, as well as semantics, pragmatics and discourse, lexicon, and dialects; also, a look into issues concerning the development of the Russian literary language; finally, sociolinguistic issues pertinent to Russian will also be discussed.

Catalog Description: 
Linguistic analysis of the phonology, morphology, and syntax of Russian and other Slavic languages. Investigation of current theoretical work in these areas.
