Melinda Whalen, one of our undergraduate majors in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture, was recently awarded a Beinecke Scholarship. This prestigious award, given to only 20 undergraduate students per year from across the country, will provide Melinda with $34,000 of funding to be used to pursue graduate studies at an accredited institution.
