The Bosnian-Croatian-Montenegrin-Serbian (BCMS), Romanian, and Ukrainian proficiency exams are taken in Canvas and proctored remotely via Proctorio. Please email slavoffice@uw.edu with your UW NetID for access to the proficiency exam you would like to take.
The Ukrainian exam consists only of what is included in the Canvas quiz. The BCMS and Romanian proficiency exams have an additional oral component. To schedule the oral interview for one of these exams, contact

PLEASE NOTE: BCMS, Romanian, and Ukrainian proficiency exams may be attempted once per year and must be completed no later than the 8th week of the quarter in which students need the results. No exams are administered during quarter breaks or summer.
