Four UW faculty and graduate student specialists in Slovene studies will collaborate over the next two years (2015-2017) with their counterparts at the University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia) in an interdisciplinary research project exploring aspects of ecological literature and art in Slovenia and the U.S.  UW’s participants include Prof. Nives Dolšak (Marine and Environmental Affairs), Prof. Michael Biggins (Slavic languages), Veronica Muskheli and Cyrus Rodgers (both PhD students in Slavic languages).  The project, funded by the Slovene Public Agency for Research (ARRS), will be headed by Prof. Vesna Mikolič (Univerza na Primorskem).
