The UW Slavic Department is proud to help sponsor "The World We Live in/The Insect Play" a satirical play that was originally written in Czech by 2 brothers, Karl and Josef Kapek.  The play examines post WWI life in Czechoslovakia through the examination of the lives and characteristics of different insects.

In continuing our promotion of Slavic Culture, our department is pleased to contribute to this Senior Thesis project at the Cornish College of the Arts.

The play will be held from September 8-10th at the Raisbeck Performance Hall (2015 Boren Ave, Seattle WA) and is free and open to the public.

Please see the attached flyer and youtube video for more information.
