José Alaniz, has been selected to be recognized at the Latinx Faculty Recognition Event. This annual event honors the scholarly achievements of Latina and Latino faculty across the tri-campuses of the University of Washington for the academic year 2017-2018. Criteria for recognition include: promotion to associate or full professor, acceptance or publication of an article in a high impact journal, publication of a book, securing a major grant or retiring during or near the end of the academic year. Congratulations to Prof Alaniz for this honor!
